Style comes from northern Scandinavia, whose inhabitants do not pursue luxury and pretentiousness, they choose naturalness, warmth and comfort. The interior in this style creates a homely atmosphere and a cosiness even in a modern urban apartment.
Comfort above all
“Scandinavian style” is about the conciseness and taste. This style is aimed at creating comfort for the hosts of the house. Cosiness and convenience changed the desire to throw sand into the eyes of guests. Restraint, naturalness and practicality dominate in the Scandinavian style. It does not imply excessive pathos and luxury, its basis is the logic and aesthetics.
Functionality and minimalism
Interior in the Scandinavian style is always functional, minimalistic and practical. Designers often use various non-standard solutions to expand space – division into zones, roomy cabinets and shelving, functional furniture. Therefore, this style is clearly suitable for the arrangement of a small apartment.
The basis of the color scale of the style is white. A special place is given to the decor. It is important to create the right design, make it dynamic and cozy without overloading the interior. Posters, photographs, and contemporary art objects often appear as elements of decor.
“Scandinavian style” is preferred by people of northern temperament.

If you like cold shades, the freshness of the frosty morning and the beauty of the winter nature, then definitely pay attention to the “Scandinavian style”.
If you are a fan of minimalism, then you will like this style.
Despite the cold shades of this style, it is not cold or uncomfortable at all, rather it emphasizes the severity of character and the desire for perfectionism.
